Refund & Return Policy – SwissClear

Effective date: June 20, 2025

We want your shopping experience with SwissClear to be worry-free. Below you’ll find everything you need to know about cancellations, refunds, and return conditions when using our service.

1. Can I cancel my order?

Yes — you can cancel your order before SwissClear has placed the purchase with the seller.

  • To cancel, simply contact our support team as quickly as possible at: support@swissclear.ch

  • If the order has not yet been purchased, we will refund you 100% of your payment.

Once the order has been placed with the external seller, it is no longer eligible for cancellation and falls under the return process (see below).

2. Can I return a product?

Yes — SwissClear supports returns, but they depend on the seller’s own return policy.

We will:

  • Contact the original seller on your behalf

  • Help organize the return shipping

  • Ensure customs compliance for cross-border returns

Please note:

  • Some sellers do not accept returns or may apply restocking fees.

  • Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the product was defective or incorrect.

3. How do refunds work?

We carefully track and insure all shipments. In case of:

  • SwissClear will issue your refund within 5–10 business days

  • Refunds will be credited via the same method used for payment (Stripe, TWINT, etc.)

  • Refunds are made in CHF, including Swiss VAT and all related service fees where applicable

If the seller only accepts a partial refund (e.g., due to usage or opened packaging), SwissClear will inform you before processing it.

4. What happens if my order is delayed, lost, or damaged?

We carefully track and insure all shipments. In case of:

  • Delays: We will inform you and support resolution with the carrier.

  • Loss or damage: A full refund or replacement will be offered, depending on availability and shipping terms.

  • Claims must be made within 7 days of delivery or expected delivery.

6. Important notes

We retain your personal data:

  • Refunds cannot be issued for digital or perishable goods.

  • Refunds may take longer for products purchased from non-EU marketplaces.

  • SwissClear reserves the right to deny a return request if fraudulent use is suspected.
